We first opened our doors to the public of South Africa in 1939! Since then, we have perfected many recipes, created many new recipes, and expanded our product range to allow for the ever-changing times in dietary requirements. We continuously strive to offer our customers not only healthy, freshly baked products but a range of confectioneries too.

We enjoy our baking of innovative products almost as much as our customers love to eat them! However, that doesn’t mean we have forgotten about the tried and tested long-time favourite baked goodies, we’ve perfected those recipes too, and always add a sprinkle of goodness to all of our products which are lovingly baked at French Confectionery!

We have a unique and innovative range of low-carb products, health bread, and traditional rye bread, that are ideal for everyday lunches.
Nutri Low-Carb
Our Nutri Low-Carb range of products is innovative and designed to curb lifestyle diseases such as Diabetes, Cancer, Obesity, and Heart disease just to name a few. These products can be consumed as part of a healthy and disease-preventative lifestyle, without compromising on taste and quality! At French Confectionery, we are Halaal certified and ISSO 22000 and 22002-1 compliant.
Quality Control
COA’s
All our products are traceable from our suppliers by means of COA’s. We only use the highest quality flour, seeds, and almonds which are locally sourced.
Quality Controller
Our Food Safety Officers ensure the temperature and sanitizing procedures are closely monitored whilst our products are all thoroughly checked by our Quality Controller.
Sterilisation
We use a natural steaming process to sterilise our product which slows down bacterial growth.
